“The selection of objects is first made on the emotional value they include. I look for this part of subjectivity while putting myself in the customer’s position, when walking into the shop. From that moment on, I stick to a marketing approach: the object should be impressive enough in order to attract attention, or else it would be swallowed up among the existing products; but it shouldn’t be revolutionary so as to avoid creating a disturbing singularity. The object should easily integrate an interior.
DESIGN?
“I love all objects that are either strong enough to create instantly a feeling by themselves; or more subtle, requiring the intervention of a user to give the objects all their meaning and worth.”
